June 18, 2006Not to self. If you are going to watch a horror movie that includes scary stuff in the toilet… PLEASE MAKE SURE IT DOESN'T LOOK LIKE THE ONE IN TEKONG.
Awesome Job by the DOP and i love the 3d rendering. Story is very very game-ish ( in a very good way )… cheezy dialog at good times. ZERO SHOCK Value… but love the way the director pauses the shoot to let u have a closer look and then let the visuals freak u out. Personally it's the ONLY GAME MOVIE ever created in movie history. the rest are basically movies BASED on games.. this one feels as if someone is playing in with a controller

omg .. this is so sad.. i actually created an “army” catagory for my blog.. argh.
First of all.. some of you might be thinking.. “WTF is FQ doing online” .. well simple.. MC.. well i’m sure by now u’ll be thinking CHAO GENG ONE… but well apparently.. yesterday morning i woke up with a 39.3 degrees fever.. and next thing i knew i was sucking on my thumb in my room so yeah .. i’m out until wednesday morning where i would return to the camp for light duties.. and then book out by saturday.
Here’s some tips for fellow local designers who are entering the army soon.
1) THE ARMY IS NOT A PLACE FOR DESIGNERS OR ANYONE FROM THE CREATIVE INDUSTRY.
2) Do your sanity a big favour.. bring a ipod into camp… and a sketch book or a Creative Review magazine.
3) When in camp.. FORGET THE FACT that you are a designer.
4) Be prepared for regular meals, and sleeping time as early as 2230 and waking up at 0530. tt’s like a totally different timezone for us lah.
5) Good Luck and trust me .. u would miss your itunes.

In 7 hours time.. i'll be the lowest possible lifeform on Tekong.
Well i'm think i'm suppose to leave a whole bunch of mushy gushy stuff like how u'm going to miss you guys.. but what the heck.. hahaha well there's so many things to miss and somemany awesome ppl to miss.. i think 7 hours may not be enuff.. but the point is.. i'm going to the army..not jail… hahaha soo!
See u guys on 17 June.. and here's what i wish to do on my first weekend book out….
i want to watch THANK YOU FOR SMOKING and NACHO LIBRE… so would some of u be so nice to watch for me or soemthing hahahah

Warning: Do not watch the movie unless u're prepared to appreciate awesome Cinematography and Screenplay. With a brilliant performance by David Strathairn and Incredible set design, this movie might not be suitable for people who enjoy movies like Glitter or Crossroads… Other than that… this movie definately deserves her Oscar normination for best picture this year. This is truly a MUST WATCH for 2006
